child portrait sessions in your garden

My goal for all my portrait sessions is to capture real moments of happiness.   With child portrait sessions the way I try to achieve this is to ensure the children have lots of fun.  What we do during the shoot depends on the child or children but one of my favourite games to play at the moment is hide and seek.   Hide and seek is normally great for photos but it is even funnier than usual when there isn’t really anywhere for mummy to hide!

The other thing I love to do during child photo shoots is to get the children to play with their favourite toys.  As you can see Buzz crash landed but luckily survived.

The smallest in this family is a little too young for hide and seek just yet but you can see that he is going to be as much fun as his big brother.  Just look at that smile!

The digital copies of these photos will I hope be passed on to the children some day and I hope these images will bring back floods of memories of the happy days they had playing in their garden.

What game do your children enjoying playing most in your garden?
