This piece of research says that you can increase your enjoyment of an experience just by taking photos.
- The family holiday can be even better if you bring your camera with you (and use it).
- The Euro qualifier will be even more thrilling if you take photos of it.
- Your four year old’s first bike ride will be even more memorable if you capture it on camera, provided of course they don’t fall and hurt themselves while you are busy taking photos!!
Taking photos does increase my enjoyment of experiences, mostly because I know we are more likely to remember the experience in future years because of the photos and of course because I am doing something I love. However, I am surprised that this a general truth.
Do you believe that just by taking photos you can increase your enjoyment of an experience?
Maybe this explains our obsession with selfies?
What do you think?
